Talk about foreshadowing!

I was looking for a map or graphic of New Orleans when I happened across this page which is a scan of a New York Times article. The article is dated April 30th, 2002 and it’s from the Science Times. The title is, “Nothing’s Easy for New Orleans Flood Control.” Reading through the article, I’ll be damned if there weren’t people who called it right on the nose. Take a look:
